The Transition to Middle School
You may have a lot of questions, some worries, and hopefully a feeling of excitement about starting 6th grade at Holman Middle School. Check out the information and links here to find the answers to your questions and calm your worries.
Jump Start Day
Hopefully you've already heard, all Incoming 6th Graders to Holman are invited to attend Jump Start Day August 11, 2010. This is an opportunity for students to learn about Holman and meet their very own 8th grade WEB leader.

The day begins at 7:50 AM (buses will run at regular time--so students can have a practice run before the first day of school) and students will depart Holman on buses at 2:20 PM. BRING WITH YOU: lunch, any school supplies you would like to leave in your locker, and your lock. If you plan to attend, please RSVP by August 6th. You should've already received a postcard you can use to RSVP, but if not or if you can't find it, email us at jumpstart@psdr3.org. We hope to see all incoming 6th graders August 11th.
