|6 North Food Drive|
|Wednesday, November 30, 2016|
Over the past few years, Holman has had a backpack program to help our students in need. The way that the program works is that students who are in strong financial need are given a backpack of food to take home every weekend. As of now, there are 15 families who participate. Because this program is funded only by donations, 6 North is holding a food drive.
Over the years, North has collected several team shirts that were never needed. We have approximately 60 shirts of varying size, color and style. For every student who brings in 5 canned/boxed items or $3 between December 1 and December 15, he/she will get an “old school” shirt for free. Selections of shirts will be available on a first come/first serve basis.
For record keeping, please make sure that all donations are delivered to Ms. Fisk, room 202. If you are dropping off items and would like a shirt, please make sure your name is clearly marked on your donations.
Thank you in advance. Please see below for a current list of needed items. Thank you in advance.

The Paint for Peace exhibition displayed a collection of painted panels selected from more than 100 Ferguson and St. Louis businesses impacted by vandalism that accompanied some of the protests in the region in 2014. The display showcases "the power of the arts to create conversation, understanding and healing."
